EXCURSIONS TO MUSEUMS FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS OF CARIU AS PART OF THE ORIENTATION WEEK

As part of the Week of the first-year student of Karaganda Industrial University on September 5 of this year, 1st-year students of all three faculties visited the historical and cultural center of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where they were able to get acquainted with six exhibition halls: “Independent Kazakhstan”, “Son of his Time”, “Personality Phenomenon”, “Steel Profile of Kazakhstan”, “In the flow of time” and “Kazakhstan’s Way” and the Temirtau City Museum of Local History.

All the museums of our city are equipped with modern technology and interactive zones that work on the principle of “Looked-listened-tried myself”, allowing you to learn a lot about the life of the city of Temirtau, about modern and ancient Kazakhstan and about important events in history. After all, important documents, old photographs, constructed factories, factories in miniature and much more were of great interest to modern youth.

Recall that the first-year students of our university came to study from almost all regions of Kazakhstan, so the events within the framework of the Freshman Week are primarily aimed at getting acquainted with the city of Temirtau.

Visiting museums by students is also carried out in accordance with the educational work plan of the university, which is aimed at increasing the level of patriotic education among students through thematic excursions and visits to cultural heritage sites.
