Every year, hundreds of graduates of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs leave the walls of Karaganda Industrial University. Many of them, after graduating from university and having achieved some success in their professional activities, join the Association of Graduates of Karaganda Industrial University, returning to their alma mater as experienced specialists who are able to provide significant assistance to the university in a variety of directions.
The members of the KarIU Alumni Association play an important role in the preparation and conduct of various university events, providing help to the university. The University is especially grateful for the assistance provided in organizing events to such members of the Alumni Association as Sarekenov Kabidolla Zulkashevich, Lomakin Alexey Borisovich, Bykov Vladimir Anatolyevich, Sviridov Vasily Ivanovich.
For the preparation of highly qualified graduates, it is important that the content of the university’s educational programs meet all modern requirements. These requirements, shaped by the labor market, are best known to employers. Traditionally, a significant part of the representatives of employer enterprises are former students of our university – current members of the Alumni Association. Using their production experience, they regularly conduct an examination of KarIU educational programs, analyzing their content and giving recommendations on their updating to meet the requirements of the time. Karaganda Industrial University is grateful for participation in the examination of educational programs to Alexey Konstantinovich Epachintsev, Ivan Alexandrovich Bryksin, Nikolay Dmitrievich Zhuravlev, Vadim Mikhailovich Sirenko, as well as all other members of the Alumni Association who help make our educational programs better.
The members of the KarIU Alumni Association also share their professional knowledge and skills with the students of our university, participating in the organization and holding of seminars, trainings, hackathons and other events.
Representatives of the Alumni Association share their experiences with students and give an expert assessment of their knowledge gained during their studies at the university, acting as reviewers of diploma projects and chairmen of attestation commissions during their defense.
An important area of work of the KarIU Alumni Association is the scientific field. Such representatives of the Association as Arbuz Alexander Sergeevich (coordinator of the research center of the main facilities of Nazarbayev University), Korobko Sergey Vladimirovich (Deputy General Director for Production of Tau-Ken Temir LLP) make a great contribution in this direction.
The staff of Karaganda Industrial University also never forgets its graduates, supporting them at all stages of their professional activities and rejoicing at every victory.
