The speakers were postdoctoral fellows of the grant financing program for young scientists under the Zhas Galim project for 2022-2024: Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Kunaev, PhD, and Maksat Zharylgasynovich Abishkenov, Master of Technical Sciences.
The event was organized by the Department of Technological Machines and Transport.
2) A round table was held at the university on the topic: “Commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activities is a tool for integrating science and business.” The main purpose of the event is to discuss promising areas of cooperation between the university and industrial enterprises, conduct scientific research in their interests, and study business needs in research and development (R&D) within the framework of the implementation of the “Concept for the Development of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029”. Also, to discuss with the subsoil users effective mechanisms for using 1% of the funds allocated by the subsoil users for the development of R&D.
Various issues were discussed at this round table. The discussion showed that representatives of the manufacturing sector are poorly aware of the challenges facing them, do not have information about innovations in the field of science in the country, are poorly informed about the scientific research of our scientists, and competitions for scientific developments. Representatives of the companies gave their proposals for the development of cooperation in these areas, and a decision was made to develop specific projects for industrial enterprises. A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the heads of the Sensata Group of companies.
The round table was attended by representatives of enterprises of the Karaganda region: JSC “ArcelorMittalTemirtau”, “Sensata Group”, LLP “Tau-Ken Temir”, JSC “TEMK”, LLP “Kaz-metiz”, JSC “Shubarkol Komir”, LLP “QazTehna”, JSC “Central Asia Cement”, LLP Kurylysmet, InterStroyAvangard LLP.

In turn, the heads of the companies, noting the importance of the event, expressed their support and made their suggestions. I believe that such events should be conducted on a systematic basis, which will give a real incentive to strengthen the partnership between universities and enterprises.
5) A Competence Development Center was opened at the university. This center was opened in cooperation with the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M.Tank and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The work of the center will be carried out in several directions: psychological and pedagogical retraining of teachers of technical specialties who do not have basic pedagogical education in order to master new educational technologies. The Center will also conduct research on the personal, managerial and professional competencies of teachers, staff and students of our universities and conduct trainings on their development. In addition, one of the activities of the Center will be the development of digital and language skills of the contingent, conducting certification courses, establishing partnerships with other national and international competence centers.
The Center began its work with advanced training courses on the topic “Intensive training: technologies for organizing the educational process”, which was organized and conducted by Irina Vladimirovna Shestitko, director of the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank. Classes were held in a mixed format, in an interactive mode for teachers of our university, leading technical disciplines. As part of the courses at master classes and trainings Shestitko I. V. For several days, she taught the theoretical and practical basics of modern learning technologies. The teachers highly appreciated the practical value of these courses and the relevance of the new educational technologies presented in the classroom. We hope that the Memorandum signed with our Belarusian colleagues will serve to deepen cooperation between the universities of our countries.
