  • In order to avoid an accident or fire, inspect the electrical equipment and the serviceability of electrical protective devices and units in advance.

When receiving a message about an emergency, the POPULATION living in populated areas with a threat of flooding must:

  • collect things, food, stock up on drinking water, turn off gas and electricity and be prepared for evacuation measures;
  • prepare livestock and poultry for evacuation to safe places. Remove food from cellars and other buried rooms and place it in attics or other rooms inaccessible to flooding;
  • be ready to hand over the house and business premises under the protection of representatives of local authorities;
  • ensure fire safety everywhere. Tell your neighbors about the information received, and provide assistance to the elderly and sick. In any situation, do not lose your composure, do not panic.

MANAGERS (OWNERS) of hydraulic structures must:

  • carry out in advance the removal of snow in places of large accumulation, cleaning of diversion channels and canals, repair of mechanisms and water discharge devices, and organize the unimpeded passage of melt water from possible zones and areas of flooding;
  • notify government authorities and the population in advance about the threat of an emergency.
