THE CAMPAIGN “VICTORY RIBBONS”, AIMED AT PRESERVING THE MEMORY OF THE HEROIC YEARS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR.

A patriotic campaign "Victory Ribbons" was held in Temirtau, aimed at preserving the memory of the heroic years of the Great Patriotic War. On May 2, volunteer students of Karaganda Industrial University distributed more than a thousand sky-blue ribbons to residents and guests of the city for free.

A new patriotic ribbon corresponding to the color scheme of the national flag was introduced in 2015 in order to create a Kazakh version of the Victory Day celebration. The elements of the national ornament in the center, as well as the Order of the Patriotic War on the edges, symbolize the bravery and courage of our people, manifested on the battlefields and in the rear.
