Representatives of Karaganda Industrial University Makhmutov B.B., Kharchenko E.M., Kamarova S.N. took part in a foresight session in the field of "Energy", which took place on June 4, 2024 at Nazarbayev University. Several leading Kazakhstani universities met in person at the session site, the issues of the impact of global trends on the electricity and heat power industry of Kazakhstan, the prospective development of the national electric grid of Kazakhstan until 2035, the state and prospects of applying heat transformation technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan and using non-traditional and renewable energy sources, energy conservation and energy efficient technologies, as well as the promotion of low-carbon development were considered.
