B.A. Zhautikov's candidacy was approved by the decision of the republican competition commission chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova. The commission includes deputies of the Senate and the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Association of Universities, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" and public figures.
Bakhyt Akhatovich was introduced to the staff of the university by the head of the staff of the MNVO Kozhakhmetov Madiyar Duysenbayuly.
Previously, from 2017 to 2021, Bakhyt Akhatovich already held the position of rector of KarIU. Professor Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautikov has repeatedly held senior positions in the higher education system, was awarded a number of departmental awards, including: badges "For Merits in the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan", golden badge named after A.Baitursynov of the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, state the grant "The best university teacher - 2010" and others.
