DEPUTIES OF THE SENATE OF THE PARLIAMENT HAVE BEGUN EXPLANATORY WORK ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament, led by Serik Uteshev, who arrived in the Karaganda region on a visit, are conducting explanatory work on the construction of nuclear power plants at local enterprises. From September 19 to 27, the working group plans more than a dozen meetings with labor collectives and the public of the region. Deputies of the regional maslikhat, representatives of state bodies, and the university in Temirtau – NAO "КarIU" also participate in explanatory work.

- The construction of the nuclear power plant will contribute to ensuring the energy security of our country. The President initiated the referendum, as the people should take part in solving such strategic issues.  Therefore, it is important to convey to residents that the referendum is the realization of the concept of a hearing state, where people can declare their choice by voting," said Rector of KarIU Bakhyt Zhautikov.
