On October 30, 2024, representatives of Karaganda Industrial University met with the head of the branch, Abdirov Daniyar Abubakirovich, and employees of the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology in Karaganda. The main purpose of the meeting was to identify areas of joint cooperation and expand ties with the educational program 6B07501 "Standardization, Metrology and Certification", as well as to discuss the conditions of the educational process at CarIU. The participants of the meeting exchanged views on the possibilities of joint projects, practical training of students and current trends in the field of standardization and metrology.
During the meeting, key aspects related to the training of specialists in the field of standardization, metrology and certification were discussed. The participants emphasized the importance of the practical component of the educational process, including internships and joint projects that can strengthen students' skills and increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
The possibilities of creating joint scientific research, participation in conferences and seminars, as well as the exchange of experience and methodological materials were also considered. The head of the branch stressed the importance of integrating theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which will be the key to successful cooperation between Karaganda Industrial University and the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology.
As a result of the meeting, concrete steps were outlined to implement joint initiatives, and further meetings were agreed to discuss the details of cooperation.
