A course of training seminars for first-year students was organized by the head of the psychological service of КarIU Yaruta A.V. One of these on the topic "Psychological causes of suicidal behavior" took place on December 9.
According to the psychologist, such events are necessary. Such work is especially important among 1st year students who need to adapt to a new environment. A new stage in life can cause stress, crisis, depression, and even suicidal thoughts.
During the seminar, the participants also discussed the issues of trigger, risk factors and protection factors from suicidal actions.
The seminar was fruitful, the students actively discussed all the issues proposed by the speaker, shared their opinions.
