The V International Scientific Congress of the Turkic World was held in Antalya, Turkey, from November 21 to 24. The event was organized by the Turkish trade union of education workers "Türk Eğitim-Sen" and UEASEB. The congress dedicated to education and social sciences was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the death of Zia Gekalp, an outstanding Turkish writer and public figure. The congress was attended by representatives of trade unions, university professors and young scientists from more than 50 countries. The delegation of Kazakhstan was headed by Chairman of the Branch Trade Union of Education, Science and Higher Education Workers of Kazakhstan Aigul Mukasheva. The opening ceremony of the congress was held by the Chairman of "Türk Eğitim-Sen" Talip Geylan. Welcoming remarks were made by representatives of the trade unions of education in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Romania and Northern Cyprus. On behalf of Karaganda Industrial University, a young scientist, PhD, associate professor of the Department of Chemical Technology and Ecology Zhaslan Rymgul Kuatkyzy made a report. The Congress has become a unique platform for interaction between scientists from all over the world, especially for young researchers. The participants were able to present the results of their scientific work, receive expert feedback, establish professional contacts and discuss prospects for cooperation. For novice scientists, this is an invaluable experience that contributes to their professional and personal development. Following the results of the congress, Aigul Mukasheva expressed gratitude to the organizers: "The International Congress has become a unique platform for the exchange of experience and opinions of representatives of different countries. Every year our scientists and teachers take an active part in it, which contributes to the development of science and education," A. Mukasheva noted. Within the framework of the event, a collection was published, including about 1200 scientific articles and works of the participants.
