On February 25, the Department of Economics and Business hosted an exciting quiz on labor economics and financial literacy. The event was organized and conducted by associate professor M.B. Turabayeva and senior lecturer A.S. Akmaganbetova.
The quiz included five stages, each of which was aimed at developing students' analytical, logical and communication skills.:
Getting to know the teams – the participants presented their teams, demonstrating creativity and team spirit. The Cell game is an intellectual competition that allows students to show erudition and quick thinking. Questions and answers – a stage during which the teams answered theoretical questions on labor economics and financial literacy.
Problem solving – the teams applied their knowledge in practice, solving applied problems on the topic. Role–playing games are an interactive format that allows students to immerse themselves in real economic situations and demonstrate decision-making skills. At the end of the quiz, the winners and active participants were awarded valuable prizes, which was a pleasant end to the event.
The quiz contributed not only to the deepening of students' knowledge, but also to the development of their teamwork skills, critical thinking and financial awareness. We would like to thank all the participants and organizers for their fruitful and interesting work!
