On April 21, 2025, a lively and useful meeting of students with representatives of the Career Center of Temirtau took place within the walls of КarIU. The main topic is active measures to promote employment in the framework of the development of the labor market of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event was a great opportunity for students to learn how to prepare for entering the labor market, what resources are available and where to look for support.
From the very beginning of the meeting, the students showed keen interest in the topic. The Career Center's experts explained exactly what the Center does and what kind of help it can offer.
"When you graduate from university and may not find a job right away, don't despair. Contact the Career Center. We know how to help. Currently, about 90% of the students and graduates who have applied to us are employed as soon as possible. The main thing is not to be afraid to take the first step and not lose touch with the Center after graduation," said Maksat Toleutaev, Director of the Temirtau Career Center.
He spoke in detail about current trends in the labor market, as well as how university students and graduates can effectively use the available tools to find a job.
Students received valuable recommendations on how to write resumes, prepare for interviews, and effectively use career platforms and resources. Maksat Toleutaev stressed that graduates of CarIU have every chance to successfully start a career, especially if they actively use the opportunities provided by the university. At the same time, he noted that today the labor market is actively changing, and young professionals should be flexible, open to learning and be able to adapt quickly.
The students asked questions, shared their doubts, and received honest, practical answers. Many were pleased that the Center helps not only in finding a job, but also in self—determination - it gives you the opportunity to understand exactly what you are interested in, where you want to work and what is needed for this.
