It is known that any educational institution is glorified by its graduates. When they leave for different cities and countries after graduation, each of them always has in his heart a dream of meeting with fellow students, teachers, and his university.
On May 2, a warm and sincere meeting of graduates of the EMM-90 group took place at Karaganda Industrial University. Years later, the former students gathered again at their home university to remember the best moments of student life.
A guided tour of the academic buildings was organized for the guests. Walking through the familiar corridors and classrooms, the graduates nostalgically recalled their classes, favorite teachers, and fun student days.
The most vivid impressions were left by how the university has changed: modern equipment, renovated classrooms, comfortable infrastructure – all this caused sincere admiration among the guests. The meeting was an occasion not only for memories, but also for pride in the native university, which continues to develop and keep up with the times.
One of the most exciting moments of the meeting was the opportunity to talk with teachers who have made a huge contribution to the professional development of graduates.
- I was very touched that the teachers remember us. This meeting is like coming home. We learned how the approaches to learning have changed, and our teachers were still full of energy and love for their work. It is also encouraging that the teaching staff has been replenished with new people – active, proactive, and purposeful," the graduates noted.
The conversation continued over a cup of tea in an informal setting, where everyone was able to express gratitude to those who once gave a start in life. The teachers, in turn, listened with interest to the success stories of their former students.
The meeting was held within the framework of the Alumni Association, which aims not only to maintain and develop ties between former students, but also to create an active platform for interaction, exchange of knowledge and experience. This is an important step for all those who have ever been involved with the educational process at this educational institution, because the association will help maintain ties and strengthen ties with the university throughout their professional lives.
