From June 18 to June 20, 2025, the International Scientific Conference EEPES 2025 (Electronics, Engineering) was held in the city of Alexandroupolis (Greece).

Karaganda Industrial University took an active part in the conference and was awarded a Participant Certificate following the results of the event. The University presented a scientific paper on the topic:
"High voltage direct current (HVDC) power transmission technologies: international experience and development directions in Kazakhstan".
The report was presented as part of the online section "Energy Efficiency and Applied Thermodynamics", which aroused the interest of the scientific community due to the relevance of the topic and the prospects of the proposed solutions. The paper reviewed the world's best practices for the introduction of HVDC technologies, as well as analyzed the possibilities of their application in the energy system of Kazakhstan in order to increase energy efficiency and sustainability of energy supply.
Participation in the EEPES 2025 conference was an important step in the international scientific integration of Karaganda Industrial University and testifies to the high level of scientific research conducted at the university.
