On June 23, Karaganda Industrial University accepted the first applicant this year into the ranks of future students. It is especially symbolic that he became an Azerbaijani citizen, Abdullazada Mahammad Asim Oglu, who chose KARIU to study under the educational program "Software Engineering".
This event was a vivid confirmation of the university's growing international cooperation, especially in the framework of educational cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. In March of this year, Karaganda Industrial University signed memorandums of cooperation with three leading universities of Azerbaijan: Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
The signed agreements provide for the academic mobility of students and teachers, the implementation of joint educational programs, research projects, as well as the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties between universities.
The admission of the first Azerbaijani student was not only the result of these agreements, but also an important step towards creating closer ties between the countries through education. КarIU emphasizes that they are open to talented young people from all countries and strive to form a multinational student community focused on development, innovation and professionalism.
