Solemn Event at Karaganda Industrial University Dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On October 23, Karaganda Industrial University held a solemn event dedicated to one of the main national holidays of our country — the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This day symbolizes independence, unity, and the people’s aspiration for the prosperity and development of the Motherland, which was reflected in the festive atmosphere of the university.
The event brought together faculty members, staff, students, and honored guests. The rector of the university, Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautykov, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the significance of the Day of the Republic as a celebration of national unity and progress, as well as the university’s role in training qualified specialists who contribute to the country’s development.

As part of the celebration, a ceremony was held to honor university staff members. Letters of appreciation from the rector were awarded to employees who made a significant contribution to the university’s development, research activities, and youth education.
Special attention was given to the university’s alumni who continue to support their alma mater and make a meaningful contribution to the development of the nation’s economy and business. In a solemn ceremony, Rector Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautykov awarded the title of “Best Graduate” to Vladimir Bykov, President of the Association for the Promotion of Private Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for his active cooperation with the university and long-term support of its initiatives.
The festive event was accompanied by a vibrant concert program featuring artists from the concert association named after the People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, Kali Baizhanov.
Concluding the celebration, the rector expressed his gratitude to the entire university community for their dedication and hard work in the field of education, wishing new successes and achievements for the benefit of Kazakhstan.
The solemn event at Karaganda Industrial University became not only a tribute to the national holiday but also a symbol of unity, continuity of generations, and the pursuit of the country’s future prosperity.
