On December 15, a ceremonial opening of the restored academic building of the Technical and Economic College under the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “Karaganda Industrial University” took place in Temirtau.
The festive event was held in a solemn atmosphere. The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the university and the college, representatives of local executive authorities, the city maslikhat, educational institutions, the business community, faculty members, students, and invited guests.
In their speeches, the guests emphasized the significance of restoring the academic building for the development of the technical and vocational education system, highlighted the role of the college in training qualified specialists, and expressed confidence that the renewed educational space would become a platform for shaping future professionals in demand by the regional and national economy.
The highlight of the event was the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, symbolizing the official opening of the building. Afterward, a guided tour of the renovated facility was organized for the guests, during which they became familiar with the classrooms, infrastructure, and conditions created for student learning.
