Within the framework of the national campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”, the annual “Collective Energy” Spartakiad was held on January 22 at the sports complex of Karaganda Industrial University. The event brought together sport, a healthy lifestyle, and the principles of fair play.
The organizer of the event was the Department of Physical Education.
Competitions were held in seven sports disciplines: darts, checkers, chess, table tennis, togyz kumalak, asyk atu, and volleyball. The Spartakiad took place as part of the annual Health Day for the faculty members and staff of KarIU and the Technical and Economic College, and was aimed at strengthening team spirit and fostering an active civic position.
Special emphasis was placed on anti-corruption values. During the table tennis competitions, the “Law and Order” campaign was conducted with the participation of a life-size mascot, which symbolically demonstrated that corruption always loses to honest and open competition.
KarIU Compliance Officer S. Ibragimova carried out explanatory work and distributed informational leaflets to participants, reminding them of the importance of compliance with the law and the personal responsibility of everyone.
