In 1991, the Republican scientific journal "technology of production of metals and secondary materials" was founded, which was renamed in 2013 as "Bulletin of the Karaganda state industrial University". The Republican scientific journal "Vestnik of Karaganda state industrial University" (hereinafter – the Journal) publishes the results of current works that have a research nature, have scientific novelty and practical significance.
- The journal is registered in the Ministry of culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan (registration certificate no. 13579-Z of 30.04.2013).
- The journal is registered in the international center for registration of serial publications ISSN (UNESCO, Paris, France) with the assignment of the international number ISSN 2309-1177

Main thematic focus: publication of research results on a wide range of problems in metallurgy, new materials technology, construction, mechanical engineering, technological machines and transport, energy, automation and computer technology, Economics, chemical technology, life safety, General fundamental (basic) disciplines.
The editorial policy of the journal includes:
- guide for authors on how to design articles;
- publication ethics requirements;
- procedure for reviewing articles.

in No. 1 (March) — until February 15 of the current year;
in No. 2 (June) — until May 15 of the current year;
in No. 3 (September) — until August 15th of the current year;
in No. 4 (December) — until November 15 of the current year.
The period of publication of the Magazine is March, June, September, December.
