HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE "Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan"
Since December 12, 2016, the "Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan" department has been operating at the Karaganda Industrial University.
The head of the ANC department of the Karaganda Industrial University is Popova Nina Evgenievna (Director of the Department of Educational Work and Youth Policy, Master of Technical Sciences).
The purpose of the ANC department is to form an active civic position among young people, educate Kazakhstani patriotism, study and promote the historical and cultural heritage of ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan.
The department annually participates in the implementation of programs aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony. Students regularly participate in city, regional and republican scientific-practical and scientific-methodical conferences and dialogue platforms. They have become winners of city and regional competitions in creative and expressive reading.
Students of QariU regularly participate in scientific and practical conferences held by the Public Agreement Department of the Karaganda Regional Department of Internal Policy at the initiative of the Department of Public Agreement.
The work of the department is carried out on the basis of annual plans, in accordance with which events are traditionally held in conjunction with ethnocultural associations and public organizations of the city. Scientific projects, conferences, round tables.
Until 2022, the Department of Public Agreement regularly held events within the framework of projects implemented at the university under the "Spiritual Renewal" program, in particular:
- The project "Kazakhstan is our common home", aimed at studying the traditions and customs of ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan;
- The project "Under one roof" with the participation of ethnocultural associations of the city of Temirtau;
- The project for the development of multilingualism "Toldaryn".
As of January 1, 2024, the Department of the ANC is implementing activities within the framework of the following projects on an ongoing basis:
- The project "Under One House" with the participation of ethnocultural associations of the city of Temirtau;
- The project for the development of multilingualism "Toldaryn" together with the "Foreign Languages" section of the "General Education Subjects" department;
- Projects for the implementation of volunteer activities, participating in charity events, together with the "Shanyrak" volunteer center of the city of Temirtau, as well as the implementation of the republican youth project "My Brother" within the framework of work with schoolchildren of the city. Temirtau city and Aktau village;
- Non-formal education projects "Young Entrepreneurs' School" and "Silver Universities" for 11th grade students of schools of the city of Temirtau in collaboration with the Academic Policy Department, the Department of Economics and Business and the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies.
Much attention is paid to working with students aimed at promoting the customs and traditions of ethnic groups living in the region and developing tolerance among students.
Also, within the framework of its activities, the Youth ANC interacts with ethnocultural associations of the city of Temirtau, the Historical and Cultural Center of the First President, the Historical and Local History Museum of the city of Temirtau, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Youth public associations in the city of Astana and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Members of the Youth ANC, together with the boards, organize cultural and educational events, scientific and practical conferences that promote historical and cultural heritage, oral folk art. Any student who wishes to study full-time can become a member of the Youth ANC.
All educational activities at the Karaganda Industrial University are coordinated with the educational process, which forms not only professional knowledge and skills, but also a new generation of Kazakhstanis - patriots of their homeland.
In this regard, the action plan for educational work of the Far Eastern Regional Educational Institution, together with the work plans of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of the Karaganda Industrial University, includes annual activities in the following areas:
- civic and patriotic education;
- spiritual and moral education;
- combating religious extremism;
- physical education, promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
- social protection and support of talented youth;
- legal education, formation of an anti-corruption culture;
- development of student self-government;
- development of debate, KVN and volunteer movements.
The number of students is not less than 1000 people.
From November 22, 2024, the Student Small Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan will officially operate on the site of the Karaganda Industrial University.
