The professional field of activity for graduates of the "Metal Forming" (MF) program involves work in production-technological and organizational sectors at black and non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises. Graduates may work in factory laboratories and in technical and vocational educational institutions responsible for preparing the workforce for rolling and drawing production. The program includes the development of technologies for material forming using modern design automation tools and scientific research aimed at producing competitive products, such as sheet metal, rolled products, pipes, and wire, as well as the equipment for rolling and drawing processes.

Graduates of the program acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the technological processes and equipment of rolling and drawing production, which can be applied in practice. They are also trained in industrial plant design, conducting laboratory research, performing mathematical processing of research results, creating technological maps, and applying modern computer and information technologies in their professional work.
