Sports and mass events.

         Many years of experience, he has developed certain traditions in the organization of sports and mass work of the university, which is based on intra-university competitions and events, city regional and republican.

         Sports and mass work is carried out according to the plan of sports and mass work and the calendar plan of sports events:

Intramural competitions:

  • Student Spartakiad of KGIU in 10 sports;
  • Spartakiad "Freshman" in 8 sports;
  • "Health Days" - among the staff and teachers of KGIU by sports;
  • competitions dedicated to the Nauryz holiday in sports.

         City and regional competitions:

  • Regional Festival "Youth is the future of Kazakhstan";
  • Student Sports Contest for the prize of the Akim of the region.
  • City Spartakiad of college students of the city;
  • Annual city championships in football, basketball, and volleyball.

         The university's national teams win prizes in all competitions.

          Sports sections such as volleyball, fitness, basketball, football, weightlifting, table games, table tennis work on the basis of the department in their free time.
