Career guidance of school graduates and assistance in determining the profession is one of the main tasks facing our university. This issue became the main one at the meeting with the principals of the city’s schools.
The event was attended by Deputy akim of the city Samat Ziyashev, who noted the importance of obtaining higher education in our hometown and thanked the university staff, who are doing a lot of work to create conditions for obtaining high-quality higher education.
In his speech, the rector of the university Bolatbek Abdrasilov spoke about qualitative changes and achievements in the development of the university. As the rector noted, today Karaganda Industrial University is one of the leading training centers for the mining and metallurgical industry of the country, having close ties with multinational corporations, enterprises and organizations of the city and the country.
The Rector also introduced school principals to educational programs, told about the conditions of students’ education, answered questions of interest to the participants of the meeting.
In his speech, Bolatbek Serikbayevich noted the importance of this meeting, because thanks to such meetings, communication between the university and schools will develop, which will allow training qualified specialists. Following the results of the event, the principals of schools, the participants of the meeting expressed interest in the transition of bilateral relations to a new level, which will allow students to choose the right future profession, increase interest in the profession, taking into account the needs of the applicant.
