The II Forum of Rectors of universities of Kazakhstan and Russia was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The international forum on “Current trends in Higher Education and Science” was attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky, rectors of 50 universities in Russia and 40 universities in Kazakhstan.
The main goal of the forum is to develop ties between universities of the two countries. Thus, mutually beneficial relations between representatives of science and education are being formed, the internationalization of higher education will increase, and ways to develop academic mobility of students and teachers will expand.
