Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law "On domestic violence". The amendments are aimed at improving the legal, social, institutional and other foundations of state family policy, strengthening the protection of women's rights and child safety, tightening administrative and criminal liability for violations of their safety, and preventing violence in the family and household sphere.
