Within the framework of the methodological week, the Department of General Education Disciplines organized a competition "Polyglot". The purpose of the competition is to popularize multilingual education, identify and support talented youth, and increase students' interest in learning languages. The organizers of the competition: senior lecturer Zhunusova A.K., senior lecturer Khamitova S.A. and teacher Druzhinina N.V.
The competition was held among the teams of three faculties: Economics and Construction, Energy, Transport and Control Systems, Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering and the team of Temirtau Higher Polytechnic College.
According to the results of four rounds, the team of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering became the holder of diplomas of the first degree, the team of the Faculty of Energy, Transport and Control Systems of the second degree, and the team of the Temirtau Higher Polytechnic College of the third degree.
The winners were awarded cash certificates.
