Educational and methodical work

The educational work of the Department is regulated by the state standards of education, standard curricula, curricula, decisions of the Academic Council of the University, as well as regulatory documents of the MES of Kazakhstan.

The Department trains students and undergraduates of all specialties and forms of education in social and humanitarian disciplines and physical culture. The following basic and elective disciplines are assigned to the Department:

• modern history of Kazakhstan (bachelor’s degree);

• philosophy (bachelor’s degree);

• sociology and political science (bachelor’s degree);

• culturology, psychology (bachelor’s degree);

• fundamentals of law and integrity (bachelor’s degree);

• business law (bachelor’s degree in Economics);

• physical education (bachelor’s degree);

• history and philosophy of science (master’s degree);

• pedagogy of higher school (master’s degree);

• psychology of management (master’s degree);

One of the main tasks of teachers of the Department is educational and methodological support of courses. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the UMK of all disciplines in the state and Russian languages were updated. UMK discipline “Fundamentals of anti-corruption culture” in the state language was converted into an electronic version and transferred to the Department of academic policy. In the 2019-2020 academic year for distance learning of the teaching materials of the discipline “Modern history of Kazakhstan”, “Fundamentals of law and integrity” in Russian was converted into an electronic version and transferred to the DAP. For distance learning for the 2020-2021 academic year, video lectures have been prepared in all subjects.

For the purpose of exchange of pedagogical experience on a constant basis mutual visits of occupations by teachers of Department according to the approved schedule are carried out. In addition, open classes are held.

Distribution of educational load and planned methodical work corresponds to qualification of teachers.
