It is known that the implementation of new technologies in the field of education is of great importance for the implementation of the language policy of trilingualism in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The department purchased the Reward English language training kit, created in England and published by Macmillan Publishing House, which includes a teacher’s book, a video-practical book, and a handout package. The acquired course provides training in all types of speech activity: speaking, writing, listening, grammar, vocabulary. Work with audio and video material increases students’ speech skills in accordance with orthoepic norms.
Developed at a high level, electronic textbooks for studying the Kazakh language regulate students’ knowledge at school and college, help to improve language skills and increase the effectiveness of language learning. In recent years, innovative electronic textbooks have been prepared for all the disciplines taught at the department, which can be used in specially equipped computer classes, which gives a positive solution to the problems in using advanced technologies in the process of teaching language disciplines.
The material and technical base includes 3 computer classes with 39 seats. Computer classes are equipped with modern computer technology. There is a language laboratory for 10 places.
The material and technical base also includes videos for more successful students in mastering speech skills.
The department has 4 training laboratories:
