The material and technical base of educational programs in the field of information technology and automation at Karaganda Industrial University is characterized by a good level of equipment for specialized laboratories:
- «Huawei ICT Academy» (222) is equipped with IT-Alem personal desktop network simulators for training in protection and attack technologies, as well as 10 monoblocks. Classes on information security, system administration and network technologies are held here..
- The Digital Technologies Competence Cente (I-220) is equipped with 18 computers, a projector and a screen. Software installed: Matlab, Compass, EWB, Microsoft Office and others. The center is used to study disciplines in the field of automation, control and engineering engineering. Students study Cisco ICT Academy courses here.
- Automation Equipment Laboratory (N-101) includes a variety of laboratory stands (based on SIEMENS, LOGO, ET-200S), software and hardware complexes from FESTO and SIEMENS, an interactive whiteboard and training simulators. It is used for teaching pneumatic and hydraulic automation, SCADA systems, industrial networks, and SMART technologies..
- The Software and Database Development Laboratory (I-336) is equipped with 8 modern computers, a projector and a screen. Software such as Microsoft Visual Studio, AllFusion Process Modeler, Electronic Workbench and others are used. Classes on programming, machine learning, and IP design are held here.
- The specialized auditorium on architecture of computing systems (I-311) is equipped with a laboratory stand for studying network technologies. Classes on information security, databases, and expert systems are held here.
- The laboratory "Internet Technologies and Web Programming" (I-214) contains 15 new computers, a projector and a screen. Development environments and server platforms are installed, including Open Server, Visual Studio, and others. It is used for courses on web development, ERP systems and information and communication technologies.
