Strategic Goal:
To ensure effective cooperation with industrial partners and local executive authorities in training specialists for the mining, metallurgy, and automotive industries, generating new knowledge and technologies, achieving sustainable development goals, expanding volunteer activities, and facilitating youth socialization through higher education.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, the university aims to:
1. Undergo specialized accreditation of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs.
2. Implement the Concept for the Development of Higher Education and Science in Kazakhstan (2023–2029).
3. Increase the employment rate of graduates in the first year after graduation to 90%.
4. Develop educational programs for industrial PhD candidates for 6 students.
5. Create 2 competitive educational programs based on learning outcomes and considering the Atlas of New Professions.
6. Increase the number of researchers with a Hirsch index of 3 or higher to 10.
7. Integrate green technologies into scientific projects.
8. Engage up to 80% of students, staff, and faculty in university, city, and regional activities.
9. Improve positions in international accreditation agencies and Atameken NCE rankings.
10. Implement a set of activities aimed at student involvement in social work and volunteer movement development.
