“Metal Forming” department held an interactive lesson together with scientists of the Ural Federal University
Conducting innovative classes with students is one of the key aspects of the development of teaching staff methodological skills. In this regard, the lesson can be conducted in a non-standard way or with the use of specialized equipment or software. At the "Metal Forming" department it was decided to hold an interactive lesson together with scientists of the eponymous department of the Ural Federal University (Yekaterinburg, Russia), with which KarIU has long-standing ties. Conducting classes in this form became possible thanks to the use of the latest projector with the functions of a personal computer, which was purchased by the university administration for the "Metal Forming" department as part of annual public procurement.
During this lesson, the students were shown live the equipment of the UrFU rolling laboratory and told about the latest scientific achievements. Also, during the interactive online tour, students were given answers to their questions.
