In June 2023, Karaganda Industrial University jointly with JSC "Arcelor Mittal Temirtau" organized a summer IT school "Fundamentals of work in SAP". The students studied the main functions and modules of the SAP ERP system, which is used at Arcelor Mittal Temirtau JSC to manage production business processes. During the seminars, students studied the processes of purchasing materials, accounting for product sales and repair of production equipment in the SAP system. The students also learned the basics of programming in the Abap language, which is used to develop modules. Classes at the school were conducted by teachers of the department and representatives of production. Finally, students successfully passed the final exams and received certificates.
