From December 8 to 11, KarIU hosted a Festival of national sports dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Competitions were held in togyz-kumalak and asyk ata.
Girls and boys participated in togyz-kumalak competitions.Within two days, the strongest players were identified.
Togyz-kumalak among girls:
1st place - Baykozha Aizhan,
2nd place - Zhelkenbai Balnur,
3rd place - Baymagambetova Aimira.
Among young men:
1st place - Rysaliev Seytzhan,
2nd place - Auelbek Yernur,
3rd place - Pernebekuly Zhandos.
Asyk ata:
1st place - Abilkasym Imangali,
2nd place - Zholdybai Toylybai,
3rd place - Komekov Nurzhan.
Within the framework of the festival, demonstration performances on Kazakh-kures were held among university students.
In total, more than 100 people participated in the festival.
The winners and prize-winners of the festival were awarded with prizes and certificates.
The prizes were sponsored by the Temirtau Youth Resource Center.
