On February 5 of this year, an information and explanatory meeting was held at Karaganda Industrial University with representatives of JSC Financial Center for graduates of the 2024 bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs studying under the state educational order. The speaker was a senior specialist of JSC "Serikkali Financial Center Akzira Serikkalikyzy.
During the meeting, the following topics were touched upon: How long is a graduate who studied on a grant given for employment in his specialty? What kind of responsibility is provided for a graduate who has not got a job in his specialty? In which cases it is not necessary to finalize the state grant, etc.,
Starting from 2021, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students who have received public education on a state educational grant must work for 3 years in the specialty obtained after graduation from the university. Graduates can work out the corresponding period in their specialty in organizations regardless of their forms of ownership.
A norm has also been introduced to reimburse the state's expenses for the training of the grantee. That is, if a student studies under a grant for two years, and then switches to a paid form, then he will have to work out the time spent in accordance with the number of years of free education. This rule also applies in the case of admission of paid students to vacant places on a grant through a competition.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, the students asked questions and were able to get detailed answers to them.
