Measles is a highly contagious disease caused by a virus. The measles virus is easily spread through breathing, coughing, or sneezing by an infected person. Infection can cause serious illness, complications, and even death. Measles in adults is extremely rare. This most often occurs in people who have not been vaccinated.
The most effective and reliable way to prevent measles is vaccination and vaccination is planned and urgent. Vaccinated people practically do not get measles.
The actual prevention of measles consists in routine vaccination, which is carried out in two stages. The first measles vaccination is given to children at 12-15 months, revaccination is carried out at the age of 6 years, and then every 10 years.
Work in this direction will continue.
