On March 12, 2024, on the basis of the Faculty of Economics and Construction of the Karaganda Industrial University, the Olympiad "Economic Scrabble" was held, aimed at popularizing economic knowledge and financial literacy of 11th grade students in Temirtau schools.
20 applications from 13 schools in Temirtau and the village were submitted to participate in the Olympiad.Aktau. The participants fought a fair fight and did not use any phones or cheat sheets. The jury members noted the high level of preparation of schoolchildren and the desire to win, as well as the ability to creatively approach the argumentation of their position.

The winners of the Olympiad were awarded three prizes. For the first place, there is a 50% discount on tuition fees at КarIU, for the second place - 30%, for the third place - 20%, regardless of the tuition fee as of September 1, 2024. Discounts are available for the entire period of 4 years of study.
