Teachers and staff of the Karaganda Industrial University decided to support teachers and students of the North Kazakhstan University named after Kozybayev, which was in the zone of active flooding. According to preliminary data, more than 20 university employees and about 100 students found themselves in a difficult life situation due to a natural disaster. In this regard, the КarIU team decided to transfer one-day earnings to help the victims.
In addition, today 6 students from Atyrau region study at Karaganda Industrial University, where a difficult flood situation persists. The houses of four students are at risk (families have not been evacuated at the moment), and two students’ houses are completely flooded.
Psychological and material support is provided to students whose families were affected by floods.
The Academic Council of the University decided to allocate a university grant to study at КarIU for the spring semester of 2023-2024 academic year within the framework of financial support to the student Rakhmatollah Bekzat Bolatbekuly. Student Smagulov Maksat Kuanyshuly received financial assistance in the amount of 100,000 tenge.
