In order to effectively conduct career guidance, teachers and scientists of our university met with graduates, teachers, and parents of students at Lyceum No. 9. The meeting was organized within the framework of the Onegeli Omir project. The event was dedicated to explaining to students the role of natural-mathematical specialties in society, the formation of logical, mathematical, engineering thinking of students, the needs in various life situations and future professional activities, as well as further professional self-determination, self-development of students.
During the meeting, it was noted that such meetings are of particular importance for raising bilateral ties to a new level. At the same time, the rector of Karaganda Industrial University Bolatbek Abdrasilov acquainted the participants with the requirements for admission to the university, educational programs, systematic work carried out at the university in recent years on training, education, science, positive results achieved and novelties, answered topical questions of interest to the participants of the gathering. In his speech, the Rector noted that, in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, 60% of educational grants fall on technical specialties: IT, energy, metallurgy, transport, construction, etc. as well as the development of the educational institution, the training of students.
