THE VII REGIONAL SPORTS CONTEST AMONG STUDENTS HAS STARTED
On February 20, the ХVII regional Sports Contest among students started in Karaganda. This year, competitions among students of 8 universities of the region will be held in 13 sports, and their grand opening was held in the 12th building of the Karaganda University named after E. Buketov.
Participants compete in 13 sports: these are basketball, volleyball, futsal, checkers, chess, table tennis, kettlebell lifting, togyzkumalak, asyk atu, kazak kuresi, tug of war, Presidential all-around (bullet shooting, cross-country skiing, power gymnastics) and athletics.Recall that our Karaganda Industrial University is also taking part in the sports contest.
On the first day of the competition in kettlebell lifting, our guys took the 3rd team place. Borambayev Zhasulan and Azam Begzhan took the second places in their weight categories. Karsan Murathan took the third place. The team was prepared by senior teacher Meleshko O.V.
